Just added: Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals to perform Aug. 22!

The Joshua M. Freeman Foundation is proud to announce the addition of a three-time Grammy winner to this season’s lineup at The Freeman Stage at Bayside.

Ben Harper & The Innocent Criminals will perform at The Freeman Stage on Tuesday, Aug. 22. Harper has released 14 studio albums and three live albums since 1994. In 2013, his collaboration with Charlie Musselwhite, “Get Up!” debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Blues chart and spent 24 weeks in the Top 10. It won a Best Blues Album Grammy for Harper and harmonica master Musselwhite. Harper’s albums, combined with an unceasing commitment to international touring, have helped him grow a fan base that spans several continents.

Tickets will range from $35 to $65 for all ages, including infants and toddlers.


  • The Freeman Stage, an open-air performing arts venue located near Fenwick Island, Delaware, first opened in the summer of 2008. A program of the Joshua M. Freeman Foundation, a fundraising 501(c)3 nonprofit arts organization, The Freeman Stage presents diverse programming in the genres of dance, live music, theatre and children’s programming.
